What does "BYOK" mean for my costs?
BYOK stands for Bring Your Own Key. You provide your API keys from providers like OpenAI or Anthropic. You pay them directly for usage, and we don't take a cut. This ensures full transparency and zero markup on your recurring costs.
How do I access the OpenClaw Control UI?
We provide a secure, authenticated link. Once logged in through Cloudflare Access, you will reach your private Control UI where you can manage agents, view logs, and monitor activity.
Is Telegram the only way to control it?
Telegram is our primary recommended channel due to its lightweight and secure bot API. We can also configure Discord. WhatsApp is available only for simple use cases and requires prior discussion.
What happens if I stop the Care Plan?
Nothing breaks immediately. You keep access to your instance. However, we won't handle security updates, core patches, or monitoring. You become responsible for keeping the software current.
How secure is the dashboard access?
Very. We use Cloudflare Tunnel to expose your server only to Cloudflare's edge. Then, Cloudflare Access forces a login (Email OTP, GitHub, etc.) before any traffic even reaches your VPS. There are no open ports on your server.
Do I have to use a specific VPS provider?
No. Any VPS provider running a modern Ubuntu release will work. Popular choices are Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Linode, or AWS. We recommend staying with standard configurations for best performance.
What if I need custom automation features?
The Professional Setup includes basic core configuration. If you need complex logic, custom integrations, or tailor-made dashlets, contact us through the 'Tailored' section for a custom quote.
Can I migrate to my own hosting later?
You are already on your own hosting! You own the VPS where we perform the installation. There is zero lock-in. You have full root access to everything we build.
Do you offer an Enterprise plan?
No. We focus exclusively on one-time professional implementations and optional upkeep for individuals and agile teams. For complex enterprise needs, we recommend contacting the OpenClaw core maintainers directly.
How do you handle budget guardrails?
During setup, we configure OpenClaw to use high-efficiency models for routine tasks and only escalate to expensive models for complex reasoning when explicitly requested. We also assist in setting up provider-side billing alerts.
